Friends of Oakley Creek Te Auaunga is working to ensure the stream and its surrounds are protected and restored to their full ecological potential. We offer a range of volunteer opportunities that we invite you to participate in. Regular activities: Monthly working bees – first Sunday of the month – plant releasing / weeding in the summer and planting in the winter. 10.00am-12.00pm. Tuesday mornings – working bees – 9.30am-12.30pm – Waterview Heritage Area – rock forest and quarry. Wednesday mornings – plant propagation – 9.30am-12.00pm Friday mornings – working bees – 9.00am-12.00pm. Locations for the various activities are: Tuesday
